Harry the Vulture- Weekly Standard

I had soooo much fun with this one, and the process was so much smoother than last week. For starters, Harry Reid has got an amazing face for caricature, also, there's so much more scope for adding atmosphere with this concept. There were three main stages. First was the sketch to determine exactly how much of his face was going to be 'vulturised', if at all. You could say we were 'trying on the beak for size'.

Then the AD sent back a composition suggestion that he wanted me to stay as close to as possible.

Then it was just a case of rendering. I started with the moon and sky, then pretty much worked down the page. Rendering time was around 11 hours.
