Value Studies

Lessons 3-5 of both Intermediate and Advanced at http://www.advancedcaricature.co.uk/ are all based around the practice of painting value studies. Starting with quick 20 minute 'sketches', these help focus the mind on the monochrome value rather than the colour. Below are some samples I completed for the tutorials.
