Happy Birthday Spike Lee! (March 20th)

I've dropped behind on the birthday sketches, so here's one, I'll do another tonight to try and catch up. Spike Lee directed 'Do the right thing.' probably his best work to date in my book, and a must see movie!

First time comment poster! ..been following your blog with mouth open admiration for quite a while and all i can say is that you inspire me to improve my ability by the quality of your work alone, i love the level of your exaggerations without loss of likeness (in fact i hink you actually increase it!)

love the spike and the kurt is perfection, love to see a colour version

if you ever bring out a tutorial book on your methods i'll be first in line, cash in hand

Really strong sketch Paul, would love to see this painted! the plain of the eyes seems slightly off, but knowing you, this is deliberate as it seems to add to extra distance between them
