I've dropped behind on the birthday sketches, so here's one, I'll do another tonight to try and catch up. Spike Lee directed 'Do the right thing.' probably his best work to date in my book, and a must see movie!

First time comment poster! ..been following your blog with mouth open admiration for quite a while and all i can say is that you inspire me to improve my ability by the quality of your work alone, i love the level of your exaggerations without loss of likeness (in fact i hink you actually increase it!)

wow! great form and details!look at the lips and the hairs, and the eyes, and the nostril,... even the glasses. you made all that so lively and so beautiful. just love it!
Really strong sketch Paul, would love to see this painted! the plain of the eyes seems slightly off, but knowing you, this is deliberate as it seems to add to extra distance between them
