Last week I attended my first ever National Caricaturists Network Convention in Orlando, Florida, and I can honestly say that I've learnt more in that week about the art of caricature, and in particular, my approach to it, than in my entire 25 years as a caricature artist (I started when I was ten). Being surrounded by so much talent, it would have been easy to throw in the towel and give up, but I couldn't help but be inspired to get better. I'll post the results of my progress right here, starting with the pictures I produced at the convention, back when I refused to use anything but the airbrush tool in Corel Painter (I'm now using photoshop).
