Announcing new lessons for Advanced Caricature Course

Lessons will restart on the 3rd December, you can sign up here, or email me at pmoyse@hotmail.com .

You may be wondering why I am using an acrylic portrait sketch of Britt Ekland to advertise a caricature course? The reason is simple. Before we can exaggerate with control, we need to know where the reality is. Working 'on-model' is essential to helping us 'see' exaggeration. There are many other tools that will help with being able to see the correct exaggeration, all of which are discussed and put into practice on the course. I have several students are doing it at present, all show improvement in their work in the space of just a few weeks!

To those of you considering signing up: be prepared to work hard. I stress this at every opportunity, on the tutorials, in the weekly critiques...you will get out of life what you put into it, and the same goes for this course. I expect a lot from my students- and have put a lot of work into the tutorials- but the desire to acheive has to come from you first.

So enough from me, check out the course structure to find out what you'll be doing week-to-week.
