Mike Leigh Acrylic

This has been on and off my easel for a couple of months, and I've finally got around to finishing it with one final push to the end. It's a fairly large scale acrylic on canvas, 70 x 100cm. Mike Leigh is one of Britain's most celebrated film directors, and has made two of my favourite movies, Secrets and Lies, and Nuts in May. Check 'em out!

Fantastic job Paul, the folding treatment is giving a great mood to the artwork ending on a perfect hand job (dont get me wrong here he?). Keep it up.

Nice work Paul, I too like this director and his films that you mentioned. I love way you have maintain a real consistency with colour and the hands are superb. bravo !!!, you should sell it to him. He is a big fan of cartoonist/caricature and in fact fancies himself as a bit of a scribbler too.
